Why we built this
PDF Password Helper started with a simple frustration: the same recurring statements and reports kept arriving with passwords that were easy to derive, but annoying to type again and again. The tool was created to make that workflow faster without turning private documents into someone else's problem.
We did not want a cloud unlocker or a product that quietly uploads files in the background. We wanted a browser extension that helps you open authorized PDFs faster while keeping the document on your device, with optional account sync for the recipes and data you choose to save.
The result is a small product with a narrow focus: build a recipe, preview it locally, and apply it to the PDFs you already have the right to open.
What we believe
- Privacy should be the default. Sensitive PDFs should not be uploaded unless you choose to send them somewhere.
- Clarity beats hype. Good products explain what they do, what they do not do, and who they are for.
- No dark patterns. The buying path should be straightforward, with clear pricing and a clear refund policy.
- Support should feel human. When something is unclear, a real person should be able to help.
